EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Surface P360M - Black
With a thickness of 44 mm, the EK-Quantum P-series surface radiators are the absolute all-rounders for low noise and high performance across the entire fan operating range. Black Edition Surface Radiators are equipped with two G1/4" threaded connections. A total of sixteen 2 mm wide copper tubes over the entire length of the cooler ensure optimal coolant flow and do not burden your cooling circuit. High-quality finless copper fins with a density of 18 FPI ensure the best balance between heat transfer and air resistance, enabling optimal performance even when the fan is running at low speeds. To maximize cooling performance, a push/pull setup can be used with any EK-Quantum P-series Surface cooler.
New and improved
The EK-Quantum Surface P series cooler maximizes performance by using a new cooler core. When comparing core-to-core performance, the Surface P cooler performs up to 10% better than its predecessor, the CoolStream PE, thanks to its improved fin structure and optimized core.
EK-Quantum Surface Premium radiators are based on years of development and market research to deliver the best product in every respect that the market demands. The processing of the materials, the mechanical rigidity and the performance have been taken to a new level. Like all other products in the Quantum Line, EK's brand new surface coolers offer numerous performance improvements, including thermal performance, coolant flow restriction and airflow restriction.
With the included screws, this cooler is compatible with 120mm fans, which have a thickness of 25mm as standard. EK recommends using EK fans or similar with sealed frames. This classic but effective square shape of the fan housing ensures optimal performance in pull (suction) or push (pressure) mode without hydraulic losses, ensuring the optimal cooling performance of your liquid coolers.
Thick extruded aluminum end caps with a subtle black finish give the cooler a premium look and feel. They cover the interior and connect the stamped side panels, creating a sturdy structure that is comfortable to handle. The stainless steel side panels are coated with durable semi-gloss black paint, while the fins themselves feature a special black matte coating with a high thermal conductivity coefficient.
360 mm Black Edition – Stealthy, all-black design
Every cooler part is completely black - frame, end caps, connector adapters, fins and even the screws. The Black Edition of the EK Quantum Surface P360 features exceptional build quality, advanced liquid cooling features and a user-friendly installation process. Thanks to premium materials and precision engineering, this product offers long-lasting performance and reliability for even the most demanding PC users. In addition, the sleek and minimalist appearance is perfect for those looking for a powerful liquid cooling solution without sacrificing style. It is ideal for three or six 120mm fans, depending on whether users prefer a push-pull setup.
The blacked-out design allows the product to blend seamlessly into any PC system, making it the perfect addition for those who want a clean and minimalist aesthetic. With its striking and stylish look, the Black Edition of the EK Quantum Surface P360 is sure to turn heads and take any PC setup to the next level.
M4 screws – standardized, easy to find
Heavy-duty black M4 Philips round head screws are included for ease of use. In general usage scenarios, EK strongly recommends using only the included screws to avoid damage to the cooler itself. However, the M4 screw compatibility allows users to source longer screws if needed. The cooler core is designed in such a way that even if the customer accidentally uses longer screws, it will not affect the structural integrity of the cooler core as they will only collide with the fins.
Easy disassembly – DIY modding dream
The EK Quantum Surface range has been designed and engineered as a modular product range rather than individually sized radiators. Such a design ensures a flawless fit and continuity in appearance while making the disassembly process very simple and straightforward. EK has always supported the DIY modding community, so painting and modifying your Surface radiator is a breeze.
Loop friendly – Don’t worry about your pump
The internal structure of the coolers has been designed with low flow restriction so as not to place unnecessary strain on the rest of the cooling loop. This means that you can add multiple radiators to your cooling loop using just a single pump (D5 or DDC). The coolers are also airflow friendly and low restriction, allowing operation at lower fan speeds while maintaining the same performance. Low airflow restriction ensures that the case is well ventilated and other radiators in the case can breathe properly.
EK-Matrix7 compatible – for the cleanest pipe runs
Since each custom liquid cooling loop is made up of multiple EK products, the most valuable difference in terms of aesthetics and usability comes from the sum of all the parts. To address this problem, EK launched Matrix7, a system that standardizes product dimensions and connector location and spacing. This way, we make liquid cooling loop assembly more intuitive and ensure a clean set of parallel pipe runs easier than ever before.
All EK-Quantum Surface emitters are EK-Matrix7 compatible, meaning they integrate effortlessly with Reflection², the second generation of Quantum distribution panels. This allows the user to easily swap and upgrade between S-, P- and X-series surface emitters within the same enclosure (provided the enclosure supports thicker emitters in the same position).
EK-Quantum Surface P wins TechPowerUp’s Highly Recommend Award
The EK-Quantum Surface P cooler has been awarded the "Highly Recommend" award by TechPowerUp. The reviewer praises this cooler and points out numerous advantages, including excellent thermal performance, very little restriction of coolant flow, five usable ports, modifiable with soon-to-be-available replacement cover plates, two color options to choose from, offset screw holes for coolant tubes, etc. "The new EK-Quantum Surface P is more than worth recommending as it can compete strongly with the thicker 60mm heatsinks and even outperform some of them," writes TechPowerUp.
